I am pleased to greet the Rotary International Convention.
Our two organizations share values and a partnership that dates back decades. Our common objective is to build a safer, healthier and more peaceful world for all.
Rotary’s work highlights the power of community and cooperation. Your efforts to eradicate polio are just one example of how, together, we can make a difference.
You are also integral to our efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. Rotary is contributing in many areas, including education, water, sanitation and health. We are grateful for your strong commitment and look forward to deepening our partnership in pursuit of a better future. Thank you.
