Secretary-General Deeply Concerned by ExplosionS in Ukraine

 

The following statement was issued on 27 April by the Spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon:

The Secretary-General is deeply concerned to learn about the explosions today in the city of Dnipropetrovsk in Ukraine, which have reportedly injured at least 29 people — including nine children.  He conveys his sincerest condolences to the people of Ukraine and in particular to the families of the victims and wishes the injured a speedy recovery.
