Security Council Committee on Liberia Updates Guidelines

In paragraph 3 of Security Council resolution 1854 (2008) the Council, inter alia, directed the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1521 (2003) concerning Liberia to update the guidelines for the conduct of its work, particularly with regard to listing and delisting procedures.  On 14 December 2009, the Committee adopted updated guidelines for the conduct of its work.

The updated guidelines will be transmitted to all States for their information and use, as necessary, and will be posted on the Committee’s webpage:  http://www.un.org/sc/committees/1521/index.shtml.
