Secretary-General to attend meeting on Afghanistan, 3 April

The following statement was issued today by the Spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon:

The Secretary-General will be in Bucharest on 3 April to attend an international meeting on Afghanistan.  This meeting will be attended by the President of Afghanistan and key international stakeholders, including high-level representatives of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) membership, of non-NATO contributing nations of the International Security Assistance Force, and representatives of key international organizations, such as the European Union and the World Bank.
