Secretary-General appoints board memberS of united nations register of damage


caused by construction of wall in occupied palestinian territory

 


United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, in compliance with the relevant General Assembly resolution of December 2006, has decided to appoint in their personal capacity three prominent international experts as members of the Board of the United Nations Register of Damage caused by the Construction of the Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.  They are Harumi Hori from Japan, Matti Paavo Pellonpää from Finland and Michael F. Raboin from the United States.  The Board is expected to commence its mandated work on 14 May in a meeting at the United Nations Office at Vienna.
