SECURITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION 1267(1999) CONCERNING AFGHANISTAN ADDS AIRCRAFT TO LIST

On 22 December 1999, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1267 (1999) concerning Afghanistan approved a list of aircraft owned, leased or operated by or on behalf of the Taliban (Press Release SC/6777), in accordance with paragraphs 4 (a) and 6 (e) of the above resolution. The following aircraft has been added to the list. The list will continue to be revised as necessary. The Committee encourages Member States to bring to its attention any information they may have concerning aircraft, which do not appear, on the list.
