The President of the General Assembly and the incoming President of the Security Council discussed the programme of work for the Russian Federation’s Presidency of the United Nations Security Council, which will begin on 1 October 2025.\u00a0 They further discussed the\u00a0process for the selection of the next Secretary-General of the United Nations.\u00a0<\/p>\n
