I thank\u00a0Dr. Qu Dongyu<\/b>, Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization, for kindly inviting me to deliver this year\u2019s\u00a0McDougall Memorial Lecture.<\/b><\/div>\n
It is a profound honour for me to be with you.<\/div>\n
I commend Dr. Qu for his remarkable leadership of the\u00a0Food and Agriculture Organization.<\/b><\/div>\n
Since assuming office, he has brought energy, innovation, and vision to global food governance.<\/div>\n
Moreover, he has embraced a bold vision for the organization rooted in sustainability, science and solidarity.<\/div>\n
His leadership finds its clearest expression in the Four Betters Initiative. \u00a0 I wholeheartedly commend this initiative.\u00a0BRAVO<\/b>!<\/div>\n
