Mohammed Amin Shaker serves as a Senior Adviser on Sustainable Development in the Office of the President of the 76th session of the General Assembly, working as the Lead Focal Point for Climate Change, Urbanisation, Operational Activities for Development and the G20, and as Supporting Focal Point on to Culture, Migration, and Health.

Mohammed previously served in the Office of the President of the 75th session, as an Adviser on Sustainable Development, focusing on desertification, drought, and land degradation, the G20, Culture, Biodiversity, Digital Technologies and Least Developed Countries. In the same position during the 73rd session of the General Assembly he covered biodiversity, oceans, and culture.

Before joining the Office of the President of the General Assembly, Mohammed worked in the Permanent Mission of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations, covering issues related to sustainable development, international peace and security and the Security Council, peacekeeping operations and legal affairs.

Mohammed holds a Masters of Arts in International Politics and Business from New York University (NYU), and a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.
