As we bid goodbye to 2021, the President of the General Assembly H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid decided to launch a social media campaign entitled, “New Year’s Resolution for Vaccine Equity”.
As part of this campaign, he invites you to join him by sending to the world a clear message of our commitment and partnership on the importance of vaccine equity.
The only hope for a sustainable and swift recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic is to ensure equitable access to vaccines for everyone, everywhere.
Towards this end, we must join hands and resolve to work together. Let us be redouble our efforts during 2022 to ensure vaccine equity in the world, for no one is safe until everyone is safe.
Please join me in this “New Year’s Resolution for Vaccine Equity” by sharing the media card (with the option of uploading your photo) on your social media platforms on 1st January 2022 (with the common hashtag #VaccineEquity and tagging PGAs twitter account @UN_PGA).
