Meeting between President of General Assembly and the Director General of the International Organisation for Migration

The President of the 76th session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Abdulla Shahid, met with the Director General of the International Organsiation for Migration Mr Antonio Vitorino, today.

The President and the Director General discussed the preparations for the upcoming International Migration Review Forum, in May 2022. The President thanked IOM Secretariat for the support extended to the Office of the President of the General Assembly in preparing for the Forum.  

The meeting took place in the President’s office at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
