H.E. Mr. Tijjani Muhammad Bande, President of the 74th<\/sup> Session of the United Nations General Assembly met with H.E. Mr. Moses Nagamootoo, Prime Minister of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana and Chair of G77, and his delegation. The Prime Minister expressed his support for the shared vision and priorities for the 74th<\/sup> session. Both reflected on the key moments in 2020, including the South Summit and the commemoration of the 75th<\/sup> anniversary as opportunities to deepen the relations of the Group of 77 and China with the United Nations. The Prime Minister welcomed further engagement with other groups to share the concerns of the G77. Emphasizing the need for strong support to multilateralism, development and solidarity, the President extended his best wishes for a successful term of the G77 Chairmanship and collaboration on the critical events and processes in the coming months.<\/p>\n
