Evelyne Ojwang is the senior administrative assistant in the Office of the President of the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, a position she also held during the 72nd and 73rd Session.

Evelyne also worked in the Offices of the Presidents of the 69th, 70th and 71st Session of the General Assembly. Her work focuses on serving as an assistant to the Chef de Cabinet, preserving the institutional memory of the Office, ensuring smooth and efficient transition between Presidents of the General Assembly, managing the front office of the President and advising on and implementing relevant administrative policies, systems and procedures.

Before joining the Office of the President, Evelyne served as a Meeting Services Assistant at the United Nations General Assembly Affairs Branch, providing meeting support for General Assembly plenaries, its committees and the work of the President’s office.

In previous capacities, Evelyne worked in advocacy organizations, including World Information Transfer and American Cancer Society, promoting health and environmental literacy.

She has a Masters degree in Public Administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta, United States of America, and speaks English and Swahili.
