READOUT: meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba

The President of the 74^th Session of the UN General Assembly, H.E. Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, held today a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, H.E. Bruno Eduardo Rodríguez Parrilla, on the margins of the General Debate.

The Cuban Foreign Minister highlighted that his country believes in multilateralism and it has been supporting the process of UN reforms, including the revitalization of the General Assembly. President Muhammad-Bande commended Cuba for its continued support to the United Nations and the principles of the UN Charter. They further discussed ways to work closer together in order to achieve the common goal of successfully navigating the programme of work of the General Assembly.
