READOUT: meeting with the Foreign Minister of Indonesia

The President of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly, H.E. Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, met with H.E. Ms. Retno Marsudi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. The Minister expressed Indonesia’s commitment to support for achieving the President’s priorities for the 74^th Session of the General Assembly. The President also discussed regional developments in Southeast Asia and the Middle East with the Minister. They highlighted the necessity to build trust among all involved parties in the issue of Rohingya refugee. The President also was briefed about Indonesia’s proposal resolutions on for the 74^th Session of the General Assembly, related to creative economy and protection of women migrant workers.
