The President of the 74th Session of the UN General Assembly, Mr Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, held a meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Turkey, H.E. Mr Mevlut Cavusoglu. The Minister expressed his country’s full support to a successful Presidency of the 74th Session and both interlocutors agreed to join forces in tackling together the common challenges that feature among the priorities of the session. In that respect, the President took note of the readiness of Turkey to host a regional center for youth in Istanbul. The Minister also announced that Turkey is a candidate for the Presidency of the 75th session.
