Adviser | Communications, Innovation and Partnerships

Denise is an adviser on communications, innovation and partnerships in the Office of the President of the 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly. Before accepting this role, Denise served in the Office of the President of the 72nd Session of the UN General Assembly where she provided support to the Sustainable Development Team on issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals, climate change, and financing for development.

Before joining the Office, Denise worked for the Executive Office of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization’s (UNESCO) Communication and Information Sector in Paris, covering issues related to freedom of expression, the safety of journalist, media development and building knowledge societies through Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). Before joining the United Nations, Denise worked for several NGOs and the private sector in Canada and Mexico.

Denise holds a bachelors degree in Political Science, Communication Studies and Art History from McGill University and a masters degree of International Public Management from Sciences Po, Paris.

Denise speaks Spanish, English and French.
