Nadia Kalb

Nadia is the Legal Adviser in the Office of the President of the 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Before joining the PGA’s team, Nadia was Counsellor for Legal Affairs at the Permanent Mission of Austria to the United Nations in New York. In that capacity she served as the Rapporteur of the Sixth Committee of the General Assembly for the 73rd session and as Vice-Chair of the Special Committee on the Charter of the United Nations and on the Strengthening of the Role of the Organization. Previously, Nadia was Austria’s delegate to the Third Committee of the General Assembly.

Nadia joined the Austrian diplomatic service in 2009, working in the Office of the Legal Adviser, the international law department and in the Office of the Secretary-General of the Austrian Foreign Ministry in Vienna.

She studied law, specializing in international law and human rights law at the University of Vienna, Austria, the University of Geneva, Switzerland and New York University School of Law. She speaks English, German and French.
