READOUT: meeting with the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change

The President of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly, H.E. Ms. María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés, met with H.E. Ms. Patricia Espinosa,  Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The President of the General Assembly and the President of the Executive Secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change discussed preparations for the 24^th Conference of Parties to be held in Katowice, Poland, and agreed to work together to encourage climate action ahead of the UN Climate Summit in 2019.
