The topics for discussion will include a reflection on the 72nd session, an independent report that has been prepared by the External Advisors and challenges ahead.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Monday, 10 September<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>There will be a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ipinst.org\/2018\/09\/broader-perspectives-un-today-tomorrow?utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_medium=organic_social&amp;utm_campaign=US_IPI_outreach_events&amp;utm_content=link\">public event<\/a> \u2013 organized by the President\u2019s office and the International Peace Institute (IPI) \u2013 at 9:30 a.m. at the IPI offices at 777 United Nations Plaza. It will be an interactive discussion with President Laj\u010d\u00e1k, his team of External Advisors and IPI President Terje R\u00f8d-Larsen under the topic: Broader Perspectives on the UN of Today and Tomorrow. Members of the Team will highlight ideas and recommendations that emerged from their discussions with the President throughout his term. And the Team\u2019s independent report will be distributed.
