Meeting with H.E. Ms. María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility of Ecuador

The President of the 72nd session of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Miroslav Lajčák, met today with H.E. Ms. María Fernanda Espinosa Garcés, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility of Ecuador. They discussed the election of the President of the 73^rd session of the General Assembly, including informal interactive dialogues which will be held on Friday 4 May 2018. President Lajčák and Minister Espinosa Garcés  also discussed the challenging situation in the border region of Ecuador and the need for international support to sustain peace and security in the area.
