Monday, 4 December

 

The President of the General Assembly will be in Nairobi to address the United Nations Environment Assembly.

The General Assembly plenary will meet in the General Assembly Hall at 3:00 p.m. to consider the reports of the First Committee (Disarmament and International Security).

 

Tuesday, 5 December

 

The General Assembly Plenary will meet at 10:00 a.m. in the General Assembly Hall, to consider the following agenda items: report of the Secretary-General on Oceans and the Law of the Sea; report on the work of the United Nations Open-ended Informal Consultative Process on Oceans and the Law of the Sea at its eighteenth meeting; report on the work of the Ad Hoc Working Group of the Whole on the Regular Process for Global Reporting and Assessment of the State of the Marine Environment, including Socioeconomic Aspects.

 

Wednesday, 6 December

 

The President of the General Assembly will be in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to participate in a stocktaking meeting related to the global compact for safe, orderly and regular migration.

The General Assembly Plenary will meet at 10:00 a.m. in the General Assembly Hall, to consider the following agenda items: Culture of peace; Global health and foreign policy; Investigation into the conditions and circumstances resulting in the tragic death of Dag Hammarskjöld and of the members of the party accompanying him.

 

Thursday, 7 December

 

The General Assembly Plenary will meet at 10:00 a.m. in the General Assembly Hall, to consider reports of the Fourth Committee (Special Political and Decolonization).

The General Assembly Plenary will meet at 3:00 p.m. in the General Assembly Hall, for Consideration of the reports of the Sixth Committee (Legal).

 

Friday, 8 December

The General Assembly Plenary will meet at 10:00 a.m. in the General Assembly Hall, to consider reports of the Secretary-General on strengthening of the coordination of humanitarian and disaster relief assistance of the United Nations, including special economic assistance.

The President of General Assembly will hold a dialogue with civil society, academia and the private sector, entitled “Sustaining Peace: Partnerships for Conflict Prevention and Peacebuilding,” at Columbia University. To attend, register here.
