UNITED NATIONS, New York, 1 December 2016 –<\/strong>\u00a0The President of the United Nations General Assembly warmly welcomes the ratification by Colombia\u2019s Congress of the revised peace agreement reached last week between the Government of Colombia and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia-People\u00b4s Army (FARC-EP).<\/p>\n

The President of the General Assembly wishes to commend the efforts made by all parties who participated constructively in the dialogue that resulted in this new agreement, and reiterates his pledge of continued support to the Colombian peace process.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
