Meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Vladimir Makei

On 22 September the President of the General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Peter Thomson, met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, H.E. Mr. Vladimir Makei. Minister Makei expressed support to the President of the General Assembly and his priorities. President Thomson stressed that full implementation of the Agenda 2030 will yield good results for all nations and all peoples. The need for further progress in the revitalization of the work of the General Assembly, including finding ways to further the dialogue between the Permanent Missions and the United Nations Secretariat, was also discussed.
