Meeting with the Minister of Climate Change and Environment of United Arab Emirates, H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi

On 21 September, the President of the General Assembly, H.E. Peter Thomson, met with the Minister of Climate Change and Environment of United Arab Emirates, H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi. His Excellency expressed UAE’s interest in implementing the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement. President Thomson congratulated UAE for its commitment to the United Nations and its full support on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda, as well as the steps taken on climate change.
