Meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, H.E. Mr. Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla
The President of the UN General Assembly, H.E. Mr. Peter Thomson met with H.E. Mr. Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba. They discussed the active role that Cuba plays in the UN General Assembly, and its fundamental role in the Latin American region. Mr. Thomson and Mr. Rodríguez Parrilla also revisited the resolutions regarding the necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial embargo that have been adopted by the UN General Assembly, and they discussed the commitment of Cuba to sustainable development and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
