The President of the General Assembly met with H.E. William Ruto, Deputy President of Kenya. The President of General Assembly thanked Kenya for its many contributions to the work of the General Assembly. The President of General Assembly and Deputy President discussed the importance of the swift implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. They also exchanged views on peace and security challenges in Eastern Africa.
