Rabab Fayad

Senior Adviser for Partnerships and Outreach

Portrait Rabab FayadRabab Fayad is a Senior Adviser for Partnerships and Outreach in the Office of the President of the 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. Rabab has a particular focus on facilitating private sector engagement on behalf of OPGA.

Before joining the Office of the President, Rabab served on the UN Secretary-General’s Climate Change Support Team in the Executive Office of the Secretary-General.  She is on secondment from the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), where she is the Director of the Global Network responsible for managing the organization’s 70 global partnerships.

Before joining WBCSD, Rabab was a Managing Partner at Sententia Management and Consulting, where she focused on mediation, sustainable development, government engagement, strategic communications and international cooperation.

Rabab has also worked at the World Economic Forum (WEF) as Associate Director for Government Engagement and International Organizations.  She was responsible for government engagement for special projects of the WEF and managed the Informal Gathering of World Economic Leaders (IGWEL).  Rabab came to the WEF from the Brookings Institution’s Center for Middle East Policy in Washington, DC and took part in opening the institution’s first international office in Doha, Qatar.

She speaks English and Arabic.
