Senior Adviser, Humanitarian Issues
Ramis Sen is a Senior Adviser for humanitarian issues. He is part of the Human Rights, Humanitarian and Legal Team at the Office of the President of the 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Ramis is a Turkish career diplomat who joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey in 1997. He served at the Ministry and Turkish diplomatic missions in various capacities. Before joining the Office of the PGA, he was Consul General of Turkey in Chicago.
Between 2007-2010 Ramis worked at the Permanent Mission of Turkey to the UN and was Turkish delegate to the Third Committee. In 2010, he got elected as Chairman of the UN NGO Committee in 2010.
