The President of the UN General Assembly, Mr. Mogens Lykketoft today met with the French Minister of Environment, Energy and Sustainable Development, Madame Ségolène Royal.
The President once more congratulated France to the success of COP21 and they discussed how to move forward on the outcomes of Addis Ababa, New York and Paris. On 21 April the President of the UN General Assembly is hosting a High-level Thematic Debate on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and on 22 April the Secretary-General has invited Heads of State to sign the Paris Climate Agreement.
