During his visit to Morocco today, the General Assembly President Mogens Lykketoft met with the Head of Government of Morocco, Mr. Abdel-Ilah Benkiran, followed by a meeting with Ms. Mbarka Bouaida , Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in Rabat.
They discussed the priorities of the 70th session of the UN General Assembly in general, the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, preparations for the upcoming COP22, efforts to prevent violent extremism, and the global refugee crisis and regional issues.
