Recognizing the importance of the implementation of the Declaration and Programme of Action on a Culture of Peace and the need for strengthening further the global movement to promote a Culture of Peace, the President will convene a one day High-level Forum on a Culture of Peace on 9 September 2015 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The High-level Forum will provide an opportunity for Member States and stakeholders to have an exchange views on ways to build and promote the Culture of Peace. It will consist of an opening segment, two interactive panel discussions and a closing segment.
