The President of the General Assembly (PGA), H.E. Mr. Sam Kahamba Kutesa left Cairo today at the end of an official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt. President Kutesa concluded his visit yesterday, 18 March, with an interactive meeting with the Egyptian Council on Foreign Relations on the 70th anniversary of the United Nations. The event took place at the Diplomatic Club in Cairo. The PGA briefed the Council on the priorities of the 69th session. With participants, he discussed the need to achieve a transformative post-2015 development agenda that will bring about tangible benefits and improved livelihoods for all and the need for a positive outcome from the Third Conference on Financing for Development (FFD) to be held in July in Addis Ababa.
