Virtual expert-level thematic consultation 'Understanding the Inclusive Peace-Development-Humanitarian Nexus: Gender, Climate and Sustaining Peace in the Pacific' was held on 18 June, organized by the Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC), in partnership with the Shifting the Power Coalition and the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

1 March - 30 April 2020: Multi-stakeholder Dialogue on Building Sustainable Peace in Africa [LPI]
A series of consultations (both in person and virtual) focused on the Horn of Africa and Great Lakes region organized by the Life&Peace Institute entitled Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue on Building Sustainable Peace in Africa: A series of consultations as part of the United Nations 2020 Peacebuilding Architecture Review. In total seven consultations were held in March and April 2020. These included two face-to-face consultations in Mogadishu (Somalia) and Bukavu (Democratic Republict of Congo), four virtual or phone consultations with peacebuilding pracitioners from Ethiopia and the Borderlands areas (Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya, Sudan) and one virtual consultation with representatives of regional and international organisations. This was an adapted process from the orginally planned multi-stakeholder in-person consultation due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
