Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield has introduced IngenioRx

Health and Life Insurance Section has informed that Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield (EBCBS) has introduced a new pharmacy benefits manager called IngenioRx effective 1 January 2020. We encourage those of you who are insured by EBCBS to read the information available through the link below:

In order to obtain your prescriptions through this new service without disruption, it is important to make sure that your pharmacy has your updated EBCBS ID card information on file, in which case the transition should be seamless. However, we understand that some colleagues have reported difficulties because their information was not up to date with their pharmacy. All members should have been issued a new card last year, but please verify that you have the card with the new design, which has two blue bands on the top and bottom.

If you do not have the new card, please either go to the Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield website to request a new card or call member services at 1-855-519-9537

Kindly note that in order to receive the new cards, the correct mailing address must be reflected with ASHI.  Pls. contact ashi@un.org for updates to your mailing address.
