Capacity building workshop on strengthening connectivity along the China-Mongolia-Russia economic corridor

INTRODUCTION

In the context of the project “Strengthening the capacity of Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs) to design and implement policies that promote transport connectivity in line with the Belt and Road Initiative for the achievement of the SDGs”, UN-OHRLLS and ESCAP co-organized a joint capacity building workshop on strengthening connectivity along the China-Mongolia-Russia economic corridor that was held in a virtual format on 21 October 2021.  The aim of the training workshop was to share and discuss experiences and best practices in developing corridors and to share the findings and recommendations of a technical paper on the China-Mongolia-Russia transport corridor recently prepared by the office.
