Customs Valuation Agreement: Reservation Concerning Sequential Order of Articles 5 & 6 (Annex III: 3)

In contrast with the special provisions under Article 20.1, 20.2, Annex III: 1 & Annex III: 2, Annex III:3 & 4 are permanent exceptions if Members consented to the reservation.

The importer may request the reversal of the order of the fourth & fifth methods of valuation (i.e. deductive & computed value methods respectively). Under Annex III: 3, developing country Members may make a reservation permitting them to refuse this request from the importer.
