Dental cleanings are important for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. But there are different types of cleanings and their corresponding billing code, which may require a different patient payment. The information in the attached document will help you understand the differences between types of cleanings and the role each can play in the prevention and/or treatment of dental disease. Your dentist will recommend the right cleaning for you.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: TERMINATION OF UN HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR CHILDREN AGE 25 BY 31 DECEMBER EACH YEAR

The UN Health and Life Insurance Section would like to remind all staff members with children who are enrolled under one of the UN Headquarters-administered health insurance plans (Aetna, Empire Blue cross, HIP, Cigna dental and UN Worldwide Plan) and who turned or will turn 25 years old this year (i.e., born in 1990) that coverage for these children will terminate by 31 December each year.
