UNJSPF has recently announced adjustments to Pension Entitlements as of 1 April 2017. Per UNJSPF:
ADJUSTMENTS TO PENSION ENTITLEMENTS ON 1 APRIL 2017 - On 1 April 2017 there will be 3.6% adjustment of the US dollar entitlements, based on the movement of the United States Consumer Price Index (US-CPI) over the three-year period December 2013 to December 2016 (there was no increase in April 2015 or 2016 because the required minimum 2 per cent movement to trigger an adjustment had not been reached).
UNJSPF has shared the new Pension Entitlements figures with the Health and Life Insurance section, therefore ASHI contributions will be reviewed and adjusted if necessary based on the Pension Entitlements as of 1 April 2017.
If an adjustment is deemed necessary per the UN system (Umoja), the adjustment will be reflected in May's pension entitlement. It is our understanding that UNJSPF now allows individuals to view their monthly distributions online. Therefore, you should be able to view any change in your ASHI contribution by viewing your online UNJSPF monthly distributions.
