Sustainable integration and recovery in North Ossetia-Alania

The programme combined the expertise of the UN system and ensured a smooth transition from emergency relief to recovery and development. By strengthening the capacities of Government and non-Governmental entities, and by improving access to micro-credit and employment opportunities, the programme integrated displaced populations, refugees, and forced migrants within a framework that also enhanced the resilience of other low income groups within the area.
