The programme advances sustainable development through enhancing the resilience of communities vulnerable to the economic, environmental and social impacts of climate change and disasters in West Kingston and Northern Clarendon. It will enhance the policy and regulatory framework for water management, expand climate-sensitive agricultural practices, strengthen participatory governance at the community level, and mainstream the human security approach in development strategies.
