At an intimate forum hosted by the Writers Guild of America (West) in October 2010, scriptwriters from Hollywood had a unique opportunity to meet with UN staff working on the frontlines of tackling some of the world’s most pressing issues. Three staff members working in Haiti, Thailand and Sudan shared their experiences and offered insights into the work of the UN in areas such as humanitarian relief, peacekeeping and combating human trafficking.
