As part of our commitment to transparency and accountability, the interactive Gender Parity Dashboard shows the latest gender balance data for Phase I of the Strategy. The dashboard focuses on the target population of international staff in the UN Secretariat (only), as defined in the Strategy. You can drill down on gender balance by entity and professional level.
All visuals include only UN Secretariat international staff in FS, P, D, ASG and USG levels on Permanent/Continuing, Fixed-term and non-temporary appointments as well as UNDP administered staff on the same levels and appointment types. High-level appointments with one-dollar-per-year contracts are not included. Small departments or entities – comprising 10 persons or less – are excluded from the dashboard, in line with the target measurement approach outlined in the Strategy. Phase 2 of the Strategy will cover General Service staff and national staff not shown here.
The Secretariat provides the data on this website as a service to the public. The data is sourced from Umoja or information provided directly to OHRM by United Nations entities. While the data have been subjected to review and are substantially complete, the Secretariat reserves the right to revise the data pursuant to further analysis and review on an ongoing basis. The Secretariat makes no warranty, representation, or guaranty as to the content, accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of the data. It is made available on an “as is” basis.
