VISIONS OF THE NEW MILLENNIUM

An exhibit of youth art and creativity at the United Nations
organized with International Paint Pals
17 December 1999 – 28 February 2000
United Nations Public Lobby
New York, USA

The broad theme of the exhibition will be "Visions of the New Millennium". If you are a young artist aged 6 to 18, you are invited to submit a painting, drawing, photograph or sculpture representing your visions, hopes and dreams for the kind of world you would like to live in – in the year 2000 and beyond. The final exhibit will also include poetry and essays that have been collected from young people worldwide.

Your pictures may represent your ideas for the future and the priorities which you think are most important for you, for your country and for the world. Or you may want to create a piece about some of the things in the past or present that you would like to see either eliminated or strengthened in the future.

Artwork submitted must be in the form of a 35 mm slide/transparency along with the personal information form attached.
