Tais Gadea Lara is an independent journalist specializing in environmental issues, sustainability, and climate change. She is a Climate Reality Leader and co-founder and director of Conexión Coral, a news site reporting on environmental issues and climate change. She is a regular reporter for TV programs Hoy Nos Toca and Efecto Mariposa at Canal de la Ciudad, and writes for newspapers La Razón and La Nación, Sophia magazine, and ClimateTracker.org. Gadea Lara has covered the climate negotiations in Lima, Bonn, Paris and Marrakech and the IRENA Assembly in Abu Dhabi. At the United Nations, she plans to focus on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). She is also interested in how various actors (governments, companies, organizations, and citizens) are working together for the Sustainable Agenda.
