Mike Navallo is a broadcast journalist with ABS-CBN based in Manila, Philippines. He has covered President Duterte's War on Drugs, producing stories on drug raids and the deaths of drug suspects. He is part of the team that won the Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA) 2017 Award for Human Rights Reporting for the online series, War on Drugs: The Unheard Voices. He has also reported on the arrest of Duterte critic Senator Leila de Lima, the burial of former dictator Ferdinand Marcos at the Heroes' Cemetery, the ASEAN Summit and the South China Sea dispute. A licensed attorney, he previously worked as a litigator at a law firm and as a researcher on police torture at Amnesty International.
