The UN Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) has started preparations for its Policy Session. The current CSD-16/17 implementation cycle focuses on the  thematic issues of Agriculture, Rural development, Land, Drought, Desertification, and Africa. The CSD-16 Review session concluded on 16 May 2008.
