Participation in the Preparatory Process
In addition to the substantive informal sessions held from October to December 2014, the preparatory process for the Addis Ababa Conference included two days of informal interactive hearings with civil society and the business sector, convened on 8-9 April 2015. The hearings fostered dialogue between Member States and non-governmental actors on all substantive issues related to the Conference. They also provided civil society organizations and business sector entities with an opportunity to share their views and recommendations on the draft outcome document of the Conference.
