ECOSOC to discuss Integrated Approach to Rural Development in 2007

     The 54 member Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) met for its 2006 organizational session on 10 February 2006 under the chairmanship of the Council President, Ali Hachani (Tunisia). Among decisions taken was to consider a discussion on promoting an integrated approach to rural development in developing countries for poverty eradication and sustainable development in Feb 2007 at its regular organizational session.
