Slovakia is prepared to consider any specific request from States lacking the legal and regulatory infrastructure, implementation experience and/or resources for fulfilling the provisions of the resolution.
Assistance through International Organizations
Slovakia, within her capacities, has adopted an active stance on the issue of international assistance in the field of non-proliferation. Up to now, the main bulk of our assistance activities in the field of non-proliferation have been provided through relevant international institutions such as the IAEA and the OPCW. These activities have also included our regular participation in the IAEA regional technical project dedicated to assist Member States in combating the illicit trafficking of nuclear and other radioactive materials. In the chemical field, we have been active in organising of various international training courses under the auspices of the OPCW.
